First Photo of PSI Judge Anderson

You may recall on my old blog lots of posts about various supporting cast members from Judge Dredd comic strip , been a big Dreddy fan . Judge Anderson been one, I even  featured a  poll of who you'd of liked to have played the role of the telepath policewoman .Finally a still has appeared of Olivia Thirbly playing Cassandra Anderson in Dredd which won't be out till September  2012 image comes from a scan  of Empire magazine, uniform looks nothing like how you see it in comic (doesn't look like it'll show off her figure much  , rather more realistic for the job with lots of padding a protection) but  I won't gripe or pass judgement until I see film ..but it looks like an improvement to the 1995 movie .. I think this story will be a good introduction to Mega City One  rather than some typical Hollywoodish  epic .
Anderson's appearence  was created by Brian Bolland and based loosely on Debbie Harry ..as you can see from the drawings and the photo manipulation  I found at the 2000ad site , I've also included some frames drawn by Brett Ewins who along with Bolland was my  favourite Anderson artist and my rather amature attempt at photomanipulation  featuring Clint Eastwood as Dredd and Sarah Michelle Gellar as Anderson
