Hope everyone had a Happy Christmas -and New Years just around the corner- here's another great present I recieved from Santa -back in 1980- a greatstart to that decade-they just don't make toys like this anymore :(
"Kid" Jensen- love that Corvette.Stilll my fave slot car set-cars may of been smaller than Scalextrics-but that was for people into Grand Prix -by 1980 interest in that that kind of disolved prefered the car chase scenario-another neat thing was the fact the cars had lights (so this was great in the dark too-add a Christmas tree even better) plus I got a free gift with my set a superfast set which had a massive loop -can't find any decent videos of it though -but found this advert (complete with Electric Bananna/Pretty Things soundtrack-the songs called "Street Girl" oddly enough)
guess I'm wondering off topic again lol
More Motorcycles -not excatly festive.. that is unless you've written to Santa for one of these.
Some spoilt brats got this and all -I was happy with just the cycle (1978-best Christmas ever)Doubt I'll be posting till after Crimbo-so Merry Christmas visitors.
in next "Looking at You " post on the other blog in about a week or fortnights time-(a post dedicated to style-bloggers)
Final Shades post before Christmas-might be able to squeeze in a mean motor scooter post before the big day have to wait and see... Dee Dee from the Dum Dum Girls in picture 9 -always liked them ever before I saw them.
The News L7 are getting back together convinces me that there is a god up there and that he/she is listening:)lol always great at interviewsalways made me laugh butalso they'd get there pointacross about serious issuesFootage by Krist Novoselic - more interviews as theladiesare great at the craic.
