This Pictures a great metaphore -Garbo & The MGM Lion. "Jackie" aka "Leo the Lucky" ..in truth Garbo was terrified(imagine all this happening -without speaking a word of English) but it's a great image + she past the screentest
When you think of Garbo a big coat and hat springs to mind and -a detachment from the world -truth of the matter she took time out from acting durring WW2 and she didn't get contract re-newed but a great mystery sprang up about her -which is always more fascinating than over working anyhow
these portraits come from Anna Christie her first talking movie and a comedy I'm gonna watch it later -I look forward to that
Garbos best photographer Clarence Sinclair Bull -I think they were a great team... really captured her beauty externally and internally- a good artist knows how to do that.
German news item about Garbo & Bull -don't understand words but I get many German visitors -I let the images speak anyhow and soundtracks good too
